“Exploring the Passion Story” and “Baking the Breads of Lent and Easter”

March 1st – - The Triumphal Entry and Whole Wheat Matzo
(to be kosher one has to finish making it within 18 minutes – up for the challenge?)

March 15th – The Judas Dilemma and Transitional 6 Braid Challah
(make with a mix of bread flour and whole wheat flour for better nutrition)

March 22nd – The Last Supper/Gethsemane and Chocolate Babka (Think, like a chocolately Bundt cake with chopped pecans and chocolate chips)

March 29th – At the Foot of the Cross and Hot Cross Buns/Easter Morning Biscuits (crisp honey sweetened biscuits perfect to pair with some strong coffee)

Beginning Sunday February 22nd - LENT DEVOTION BOOK DISPLAY in the Narthex. Sign out a book for your devotional reading this Lent.

Walking the Labyrinth, Bible Study and Soup and Bread Suppers.
March 4th, 11th, 19th*, 25th and April 1st
We'll gather at 6:30 for a soup and bread meal. Then, at 7, we'll move chairs outside and light candles at the labyrinth. We'll have a short Bible reading/study (10-15 minutes) and then we'll walk the labyrinth.

Ash Wednesday:
Imposition of Ashes 7AM and Noon and Holy Communion Worship with Imposition of Ashes at 7:30PM (Prelude music at 7PM)

March 8th Special worship Guest: Alathea – a charming female duet with five CD’s and the John Lennon Songwriting prize under their belts and a Christian bluegrass folksy sound that is simply irresistible.

Maundy Thursday:
7:30PM Service of Holy Communion with Foot Washing and Stripping of the Altar.

Good Friday:
From Noon to 3PM – Stations of the Cross at Trinity’s Prayer Labyrinth with the sanctuary open for those who desire a quiet time of prayer and reflection.

Easter Sunrise 6:30AM at Trinity’s Butterfly Garden

MARCH 1 - Trinity’s Annual Ministry Fair returns!
From 9:30AM to 10:30AM Over 30 ministries will be represented around the room to share the story of their ministry and answer questions. Come out to see what the Holy Spirit is doing in and through the people of Trinity! Take the opportunity to follow your gifts and passions and get more involved! Coffee hour will be extra special featuring Fair Trade Coffee and lots of goodies! Exciting stuff!

MARCH 8th Make A Joyful Noise! We focus on the role of music in worship with Special guest, Christian recording artist Alathea.

Trinity’s Week to serve the Coalition to End Homelessness’ Church-based Shelter Program
March 23rd through March 27th. Sign up at worship or contact Lyn Joseph or the church office.

BOLD Justice is a network of 25 churches and synagogues joined together to do justice in Broward County. Affordable Dental Care and Affordable Housing were last year’s two issues with Jobs, Wages, and Unemployment joining this year. Once the organization researches the issues, they define what can be won and rally together with meet with those who have the power and authority to change and deliver justice. And good things happen when we join together! Last year over $800,000 was won to help Broward County’s most needy receive dental care.
